A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms!

Many of you may already know that this is out, but while we wait patiently for The Winds of Winter, George R.R. Martin has released a book comprised of three novellas he wrote some time ago about a hedge knight in Westeros and his diminutive squire.

I picked up a copy last week and can’t wait to dig in! Here is a description from the novel’s dust jacket:

Taking place nearly a century before the events of A Game of Thrones, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms compiles the first three official prequel novellas to George R. R. Martin’s ongoing masterwork, A Song of Ice and Fire. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is also beautifully illustrated and only about half the size of the average novel in his A Song of Ice and Fire series. What’s not to love about this?
